All right, just so you all know: although I have not logged on to dA for about a year and a half, I did not die. I've just not been as proactive with dA as I used to be.

And that fact makes me sad.

I really haven't been as active with my art as I would like to be. The past year I was finishing up high school, so I guess that I focused my attention more on getting all of my work done and working on pieces for my AP Studio in Art class than I did for pieces that I could put on dA. I haven't done any work, whether drawings or writing, for this site. I never thought that I would let that happen. I loved to draw the characters that I created and to write about them-- and I still do-- but it seems that I've seriously neglected doing so. I miss drawing and writing for fun. Everything that I've done has been for my classes, and that, to me, wasn't as exciting to post as the stuff that I did on my own. Weird, right?

I've missed a ton since I've been on here last, it seems. I didn't do much investigating, but I did go to my old friend *Tiuni 's page and she's surpassed 40K page views, which is absolutely amazing!!! I'm proud of her, even if no one reads this journal, hehe.

Right now, I'm attending college and am majoring in Apparel Design with a possible dual major in Art Education. (Let's be realistic here: although fashion design is a really cool profession, not exactly the most reliable career choice, no?) I'm happy with how things in my life are going, except for me not being on here as much. I forgot how great of a webstite dA is and how it gives a lot of opportunities for fantastic artists to be discovered.

So, I'm really going to try and be on here a lot more. I'm currently sitting at my laptop, and I do have a scanner next to me. Perhaps I'll try and get my tablet up to my college so I can produce more art work. I do have photoshop And I've also been thinking about my story Arasya and, although it's supposed to be a fantasy genre tale, it seems almost too fantastical. Right? I'm going to try and rewrite it (yet again) and see if I can make some changes to it, maybe make it more adult. (Not adult in the sense of pornography, but adult in the sense that it's not so young. Do you know what I mean?) If you agree or disagree, I'd like to know, or if you guys have any advice that'd be great. I'd honestly be surprised if anyone replied to this since I've been MIA for such a long time, hehe.

Anyways, I'm going to seriously try and log onto here more. Hopefully I can do that
